Sara Gies

Sara works and lives in Antwerp.
She developed her skills and creativity at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
Her works are the fruits of an ongoing search for the balance between different materials. Ranging between abstract and poetic, every piece is very pure but well thought-out. Subtle and delicate yet very intricate, Sara makes jewellery using precious metal harmonized with semi-precious stones, pearls, fabric and buttons. Things like careful etching, flowershaped stones or even small messages really show her eye for detail.
