Pieter Bostoen was born on February 13, 1983 in Bruges. He attended artschool in Bruges untill 2002. After, Bostoen went to study Interior Design from 2002 to 2005 at the St.Lucas Department of Architecture, Ghent. Since his graduation from St. Lucas, Bostoen has been active as an architect/designer for several design studios. Ternullomelo Architects in Lisbon being the last one.
Since te autumn of 2009, Bostoen has been more involved in his own artistic creations. This resulting in a series of paintings, murals, graphical drawings and furniture designs. In June, 2010, he participated for the first time in a group exhibition at Guilharte in Lisbon with two paintings and a mural specialy made for the event.
In march 2011, Bostoen gives his first solo-exhibition. This event will take place at Gyselinck Design in Kortrijk. This from 15 March to 14 May with opening/nocturn on Thursday 21 April.
